Minnesota celebrates 150 years of statehood in 2008. 

Minnesota Territorial Pioneers is planning special projects and activities to help mark this historic milestone in Minnesota's history. We'll be delighted to set up our traveling display, which was funded by a grant from the Sesquicentennial Commission, for your Sesquicentennial event.

May 11, 2008 

  • MTP display at Bloomington's Sesquicentennial Birthday Celebration. Bloomington was founded on the same day that Minnesota achieved statehood.   Website

  • MTP Display at White Bear Township Hall.  White Bear Township is the oldest organized township in Minnesota. Township Website (includes directions) 

 

May 15, 2008

  • New Ulm is honored as State Capital for a Day.  The MTP display will be there!

May 17-18, 2008

  • Statehood Festival & Expo on the State Capitol Grounds in St Paul - MTP will be under the big canopy!
